Hollyhock is a small romantic detached cottage set in the quent village of ryhall, rutland.  Although situated within the same grounds as St Johns Cottage it is located down a sweeping driveway leading to its own private garden with orchard and enjoys a peaceful secluded setting. 

It is within easy walking distance of 2 pubs (serving excellent food and real ale) a butchers and a grocery store.  The gorgeous historic town of Stamford with its boutique shops, ancient inns, pubs and restaurants is just two miles away.  This secluded retreat is ideal for couples wanting a romantic break or can be rented out with St Johns Cottage to accommodate larger groups of family and friends (up to twelve guests plus cots sleeping infants).

There are plenty of homely touches including quality linens and towels, designer toiletries, scented candles and fresh flowers.  The interior is a stylish mix of contemporary open plan and simplistic country cottage with vintage inspired fabrics by Cath Kidston.

The living area is bright and airy offering a separate bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower and a well equiped kitchen. Mod cons include washing machine, microwave, flat screen TV, DVD, digital radio and CD player. There are french doors looking out on to the private garden complete with high quality teak dining furniture and loungers.  From here you can view your very own apple and pear orchard.
